Philips V900 – The Third OMS Phone

Philips V900 OMS Android Phone with iphone

Other than Lenovo’s OPhone and Dell’s Mini 3i, China Mobile will also introduce in China market the Philips V900, the third or forth OMS mobile phone (depends on whether you count the OMS version of Dopod/HTC Magic).

The main selling point of the V900, other than the OMS, is its support for WiFi and WAPI (Chinese version of WiFi, as WiFi is not officially permitted in China) wireless connectivity. The Philips V900 gets a large touchscreen display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, and a front camera for video calls, a microSD card slot and 3.5mm audio jack. This OMS phone would probably support China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA 3G network.

As said, the phone runs the Android-based OMS and will be able to access China Mobile’s new Mobile Market. No words yet on availability.
