Verizon Samsung Zeal Dual-Hinge Messaging Phone with E-ink QWERTY Keypad

Verizon Wireless launches the Samsung Zeal, a flip-style dual-hinger messaging mobile phone with an E-ink QWERTY keypad. Open the Zeal vertically as a flip phone and it has a traditional numeric keypad and can change to an alpha-only keypad, while in the landscape mode, the Zel has a QWERTY keypad for quick messaging. It has a color main display, an external display and a 2 Megapixel camera with auto focus and camcorder.

The Samsung Zeal supports Bluetooth and microSD memory card. It supports VZ Navigator and Microsoft Office Exchange Corporate Email. The phone has also the Social Beat Widget that offers a single point for accessing social networking sites, allowing customers to stay connected to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace plus more than 50 news, sports and entertainment feeds.

The Samsung Zeal will be available from Verizon Wireless for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
